Wild Bill Days - Deadwood, SD
In late 1800s, Wild Bill Hickock prowled the streets of Deadwood, where he was shot and killed as he played poker at Nuttall & Mann's No. 10 Saloon. The entire city of Deadwood, where Hickock is buried, is a National Historic Landmark, so visitors are sure to get the authentic feel of the Old West. Gun-spinning exhibitions, the Cowboy Fast Draw World Championships, and Wild West re-enactors revive the spirit of this famed lawman, Army scout, and professional gambler during the three-day event. Free concerts are staged throughout the weekend.
